Reading Resolution

It's time to make your New Year's Reading Resolution! Do you have a special reading goal for 2009? A particular author you want to focus on? A book genre you want to explore?

I do! I am going to read at least 9 new juvenile nonfiction books, at least 9 new juvenile biographies and at least 9 new juvenile award books in 2009. That's 27 books all together -- not too many I hope.

Now is the time to think over any reading challenges you want to meet in the coming year and then make your Reading Resolution!

My reading has really pigeonholed in the last few years. I think I want to join your 9 in 9 idea, but I actually prefer to read long rich adult novels, so it may be more like 2 in 9 for me.

Actually -- the nine in nine challenge is from Library Thing. They suggest 9 books in 9 categories in 2009 -- but that seemed like too many to even ask kids to think about!
