Recommended Reading: Ape

Author Martin Jenkins and zookeeper turned illustrator Vicky White teamed up to create a terrific book called Ape.  If you want to learn about chimps and bonobos, gorillas and orangutans -- this book is the book for you.  The information is interesting and the illustrations, done in pencil and oil, are fantastic!

Jenkins and White also worked together on Can We Save the Tiger? -- another great book about animals and conservation.
