Artist Vincent Van Gogh died today, July 29, in 1890 -- making this a good day to appreciate his paintings and those of other world-famous artists. 13 Artists Children Should Know is a heavily illustrated volume highlighting the works of painters from Leonardo da Vinci to Andy Warhol. The artists are arranged chronologically, so you'll find Vincent right around the middle of the book.
