May marks the national celebration of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month -- a time to pay tribute to generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have helped write America's history and who continue to contribute to the rich tapestry of American culture.
This month the SAPL Kids blog as well as our monthly book list will feature books from the wide variety of cultural and ethnic groups that are broadly defined as Asian-Pacific Americans. From China to Viet Nam to Malaysia and the Polynesian islands -- we'll introduce you to lots of great books that we know you'll enjoy.
