April Fools' Day

Wednesday, April 1st is April Fools' Day, a time for all pranksters to play friendly tricks on friends and family, and a time for all folks to be on the lookout for becoming the "fool".

If you are a prankster, the Library has a few books that can help, such as Pranklopedia: The Grossest, Craziest, Not-Mean Pranks on the Planet! It give instructions for 72 good-natured pranks that your family and friends will fall for, but not cause them to be angry or hurt. My favorite April Fools' story is April Foolishness by Teresa Bateman, which has all the animals running amok on grandpa's farm. It's a rhyming story that's sure to make you laugh.
