Curious About Curious George?

September 16 is the birthday of Hans Augusto Rey who -- along with his wife Margaret -- created the best-loved monkey in all of children's literature.  The first Curious George book was published in 1941.  The Reys created seven original stories about George but in the ensuing years additional books, movies and cartoons have been created all featuring a monkey with insatiable curiosity.
