Harry the Dirty Dog is an oldie but a goodie. Originally published in 1956, the book was reissued with more colorful illustrations in 2002. Both versions have tremendous appeal -- because who doesn't like getting dirty? Really dirty!
Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion with illustrations by Margaret Bloy Graham is recommended for dog lovers and bath haters of all ages.
