26 Women Who Changed the World
Starting with Amelia Earhart and ending with Zora Neale Hurston, Cynthia Chin-Lee has created a mini-encyclopedia of women's history. She includes well-known figures like Eleanor Roosevelt and Helen Keller and also lesser-known, but no-less remarkable, women like Latina activist Dolores Huerta and Cherokee chief Wilma Mankiller.
Amelia to Zora is an enlightening introduction to the contributions women have made in virtually every field of human endeavor -- and, an excellent choice to read and enjoy during National Women's History Month.
