In Green is a Chile Pepper, Roseanne Thong and John Parra have created a color-filled concept book with a wonderfully Latino flavor. From red ristras to yellow masa, green peppers and orange marigolds, the text and illustrations combine to welcome young listeners into a culturally distinct, but universally appealing picture book.
