Neil Gaiman is a prolific author who writes books (including comics) for children, teens and adults as well as screenplays for movies and television. In 2009 he won the Newbery Medal (and the Hugo Award) for The Graveyard Book. The story features a boy named Nobody Owens "who would be completely normal if he didn't live in a graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts. . ."
You can read more about Mr. Gaiman at his official website for young readers, Mr. Bobo's Remarkable Mouse Circus. The site includes a video of Neil reading chapters of The Graveyard Book and answering questions about his writing.
