Mo Williems began his career as a writer and animator for Sesame Street. His first book for children, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, received a Caldecott Honor citation in 2004. Since then, Mo has gone on to win two additional Caldecott Honors and two Geisel Medals.Mo is right on target when he describes himself by saying: "Mo Willems makes funny drawings that hopefully will make you laugh."
