According to her website, Melissa Sweet thinks the perfect day includes a bike ride to the library!When Ms. Sweet isn't riding her bike or walking her dogs she is busy creating books for children. She has illustrated nearly 100 books and written some of them as well. Just this January her book Balloons Over Broadway received the 2012 Sibert Medal as the most outstanding information book published in the US.
