May's Featured Author/Illustrator: Jim Arnosky

Jim Arnosky is an artist, an author, and an outdoorsman.  This month we're celebrating the many books that he has written and illustrated over his long career. A native of Pennsylvania, Jim has been living in Vermont for the past 28 years in an old farmhouse.  Although self-taught in both art and the natural sciences, he was recently honored for his lifetime contribution to science by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Jim also writes his own songs, which you can find and download from his website.
