Celebrating Mahatma Gandhi

 

Gandhi, father of India's independence movement, is remembered and celebrated for his commitment to non-violence and his belief in simple living.  Born on October 2, 1869, Mohandas Gandhi was later given the honorary title Mahatma -- which means great soul.

" Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."
