It's National French Week (November 5 - 11). A good week to speak a little French, enjoy some French cuisine, or better yet, hop a flight to Paris! But just in case your passport isn't up to date -- let us suggest that you read and enjoy Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans -- a classic picture book about "twelve little girls in two straight lines" set in the City of Lights!
