From 8:30 to 9:30 on Saturday evening, folks all over the world will be turning out the lights. This observance of Earth Hour is a way to express your concern for energy conservation. 2009 marks the third year for this world-wide event which is designed not only to bring attention to energy use -- but to help us all begin new habits like turning out the lights and turning off computers and TVs when they aren't in use.If you are serious about reducing your energy use and increasing your recycling, stop by the Library.
