Elvis Presley, the King of Rock-n-Roll, was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Elvis got his first guitar when he was eleven and had his first number one hit, Heartbreak Hotel, when he was twenty-one. He went on to have eighty songs on the Billboard Top 40.
