Back in 1957, the Wham-o Corporation introduced that amazing flying disc -- the Frisbee! You have to wonder if they had any idea just how terrifically popular this toy would be.
You can still see kids (and grown-ups) playing a friendly game of Frisbee on the beach or in the backyard. But now there lots of competitive flying disc events as well: Frisbee Golf, Frisbee Football, Swimming Pool Frisbee. There is Frisbee for Dogs and even Ultimate Frisbee with competitions between colleges!
