The Snow Queen

Did you love the movie Frozen? Did you know that it’s actually based on a story called The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen?   Lots of people have enjoyed retelling this classic story in different ways  – from picture books to chapter books and everything in between.

Of course, The Snow Queen isn’t the only fairy tale that’s made it to the big screen. From Cinderella to Rapunzel, there are lots of adventures waiting in classic stories.  If you want to read more tales from Hans Christian Andersen, other authors, or even other cultures, be sure to ask your friendly children's librarian for some suggestions!
