rice noodles, veggies, and chicken. Cora has been waiting for the
day when she will be allowed to wear her grandfather's red apron and

Having grown up in a Filipino-Italian
family, the author Dorina K. Lazo Gilmore has drawn from memories of
her childhood to create Cora and her family. Cora Cooks Pancit was
APALA's 2009-2010 Picture Book Winner.
