March 2 is the Dr.'s birthday.
In celebration, kids across the country will be putting on their Seuss hats, visiting Seussville and reading, reading reading the wonderful books of America's favorite doctor -- Dr. Seuss.
In addition to reading the books written (and illustrated) by Dr. Seuss, you might want to try some of the books that have won the Theodore Seuss Geisel Medal -- an award created to honor terrific books written especially for beginning readers.
